This album is dedicated to the memory of Suzanne Wood Brown,
June 6, 1942 - May 3, 1991

It's an incredible joy to make this music and to tour the countryside performing it - if I were having any more fun, I'd have to be twins! I'm grateful to my wife, Carrie Hood, without whose love none of this is possible, and to my parents, Ellen and GG Grombacher, for all the music in my life. I want to thank The Eastside Flash and Chris Polacheck for handling the technical stuff so well, and the terrific musicians in Austin and New Orleans, old and new friends, for their great work. I'm also grateful to Marc Blake for setting up and maintaining my website. There are many wonderful people who welcome me into their homes when I travel, and I want to express my deepest appreciation for their hospitality and friendship. And special credit is due to Chuck Skaggs and the crew at Crescent City Motors for keeping me on the road.
